Yes, dear friends, I’m in love with Sailor Moon. Here I am not talking of the anime. Undoubtedly everyone loves the anime but I fell in love with the character Sailor Moon as well. I don’t mind accepting that because no matter how old we might grow the fact is that we are all children at heart. I remember watching the show as a little girl of about 10. Though I was addicted to other shows like Power Rangers as well but this one was more ‘girly’.  Till now I’m hooked to the show the same way. When ever I get free time I utilize it in watching the show and getting de stressed by admiring Sailor Moon.

Serena was a carefree school going girl who transfers herself into the leader Sailor Senshi. She became the most famous anime figure of that time with her distinctive hair style in Sailor Moon which began to be copied by all other girls. Even I had become obsessed with her hair. I can still memorize the scolding which I got from my mother on getting that hair-style. Any girl could easily relate to her. Like all normal girls, she loved sweet food, cakes and hated carrots. She was poor at mathematics and English.

Serena was an ideal friend of every girl who watched Sailor Moon. She had the ability to make her wish fulfilled by crying. Her ultimate fear is ghosts and dentists and she dreams to become a bride. Rather than studying, she preferred spending time in eating, reading comics and playing video games. So you see she was just another regular girl but when she realizes her powers through the cat Luna, her image changes to a brave and powerful girl. How can I forget to mention the most important thing, her nicknames. She was mostly called by the name ‘Bunny’ though her boyfriend called her ‘Usako’. Another name given to her based on her hair-style was ‘Odango’.
