Even though every episode of “Sailor Moon“ thrills me, I like ‘Computer School Blues’ the most. It is because it shows how Serena cops up with her school and personal life.
Let me tell you the story and then you can yourself judge it. The episode starts with Serena and her mother discussing about the plans to start study for the upcoming tests. Her mother complains that she always makes excuse of studying later on and Serena replies that she is just a child and needs a break from her boring routine. Her mother is not satisfied with her arguments and says that these dialogues do not sound new as she also used to give same excuses to her mother.
After her bitter discussion with her mother, black cat tells Serena that she must study to know the world better. Serena answers back that her destiny is to become “Sailor Moon“ to finish evil from planet earth. The black cat agrees with her but makes her understand that it would be good if she keeps her mother happy. Serena thinks for a while and sits down to study.
Then the queen is shown making plans to capture satellite to deactivate all the computers in world. Next day Serena goes to school, gives test and gets good marks. While coming back, she sees queen’s guard, with whom she had fought earlier, buying a computer from a shop and secretly follows him and enters kingdom. There she comes to know about the wicked plans of queen. Serena fights and defeats queen with her powers. Queen promises her that she will not repeat such things in future. In the end of episode, cat winks and show ends.
I love to watch “Sailor Moon”. The extra ordinary characters of the show fascinate me very much. The wonderful character of the show is the speaking black cat, which is wise and most intelligent. She always helps Serena in finding solutions to her problems and makes her realize her god gifted qualities.
